Airborne Composite Tubulars designs and manufactures the world’s most advanced composite pipe systems for the offshore Oil & Gas industry. Our brand-new, world-scale manufacturing facility in IJmuiden, The Netherlands, will enable us to meet the fast growing demands of our global customer base and offers room for further expansion.

Business Development Manager
As Business Development Manager, you are responsible for the development of customer relations that lead to substantial sales and margin contribution. You will understand current and anticipate future customer needs, and translate these into concrete customer solutions. You will manage existing customers and acquire new ones, and handle the ambiguity that exists between managing lengthy development processes and the need to drive profitable sales. Set-backs and uncommitted customers do not disappoint you, but motivate you to persist and find creative ways to land the deal. The jargon of the oil industry, and the emphasis on extensive contractual and engineering documentation, is common ground for you.
This position requires a solid understanding of the offshore industry, and the ability to influence internal processes and interfaces. A solid professional, communicator and team player, who focuses on delivery, despite obstacles. A strategic thinker, with a street smart commercial instinct. You are experienced and comfortable in acting independently.
The position reports to the Commercial Director. It is expected that you will contribute to the build-up and competency development of the commercial department. As one of the more experienced and senior people in the company, you are expected to demonstrate leadership and assist others in the organisation in support of our growth.

Education : Technical university graduate
Experience : Minimum of 10 years experience in a relevant environment. Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry will be highly rated
